How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Happy Tree Cards account from your profile settings. This action cannot be undone, so check the details below before you continue.

Before you delete your account

If you are the only admin of an organisation, transfer admin access to another active member or delete the organisation before deleting your account. You cannot delete your account while you are its only organisation admin.

Deleting your account does not delete cards you have already sent. You will also lose edit access to any unsent cards that you contributed to but do not own.

Delete your account

Open the Account deletion section.

Select Delete My Account.

Read the confirmation details, complete the CAPTCHA, then select Delete to confirm.

What happens when you confirm

Your account and personal information are deleted immediately, together with any unsent cards in your account and their user-generated content. You will be signed out automatically and receive a confirmation email.

To prevent spam and meet operational requirements, we retain a hash of your email address for 90 days and your user ID for 30 days. Sent cards, content you added to cards owned by other people, and records of complaints, quotas and unspent credits are also retained.
