How to Download a Sent Card

Card downloads are available after a card has been sent. You cannot download a card while it is still being created, collecting messages or scheduled for delivery, because the final PDF is prepared from the completed card.

When a download becomes available

After the card has been sent, we automatically prepare its PDF download. This can take a short time. While it is being prepared, the card page or your Purchased Cards list may show that the download will be available soon. Refresh or return a little later to see the Download option.

Download from the sent card

Open the card after it has been sent.

Select Download Card beside the delivery status when the link appears.

Your browser opens the PDF in a new tab or downloads it using your usual browser settings.

Download from your account

Find the sent card. Cards that are still being delivered or preparing their PDF will not yet show a Download button.

Select Download to open or save the PDF.

Helpful notes

The PDF is a finished copy of the card as it was sent.

If you do not see Download yet, allow a little more time for the card to finish sending and for the PDF to be prepared.

If the download still does not appear after the card has been sent, contact Happy Tree Cards support with the card details.

Downloading a sent card gives you a lasting PDF copy to keep, print or share.
