Privacy and Security Measures at Happy Tree Cards

Happy Tree Cards is designed to protect account information, payments and card content while giving organisers practical control over who can access a card.

Secure access and payments

Accounts use passwordless email login links rather than stored passwords. Payments are handled by Stripe; Happy Tree Cards does not store payment-card details on its own servers.

Card links and passwords

Each card has a unique link for viewing and signing. Share it only with the intended people. For sensitive or workplace cards, organisers can add a password while the card is unsent or on moderation hold.

Media safety checks

Uploaded images and recorded videos are checked for safety before they are added to a card. Unsupported or unsafe video uploads can be rejected to protect recipients and contributors.

Organisation message moderation

Separate automated message moderation is available to eligible paid organisation plans. Organisation administrators can enable it to flag risky card-message content and can choose whether flags pause scheduled or immediate delivery. It is not a feature of personal cards, and it does not replace an organiser's review of the finished card.

Account deletion

You can request permanent account deletion from Profile after completing the required captcha. Some records may be retained for a limited period where needed for security, legal or financial obligations. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
