How to Invite Others to Sign a Happy Tree Card
Bring friends, family and colleagues together on a Happy Tree Card by sharing its signing link. For eligible organisation cards, you can also send private Slack invitations directly from your Purchased Cards page.
Share the card link
- 1.
Sign in and open My Cards .
- 2.
Find the card you want to share, then select "Share Link". The card link is copied to your clipboard.
- 3.
Paste the link into an email, chat or message for the people you would like to invite. Anyone with access to the link can open the card and add their message while signing is available.
- 4.
Return to My Cards to check the signature count shown alongside the card.
Invite colleagues through Slack
Slack invitations are available for cards owned by an organisation on a Professional or Unlimited plan when its Slack workspace is connected. An organisation administrator connects or reconnects Slack from Organisation Settings. Once connected, any active organisation member can send invitations for eligible organisation cards.

Open My Cards and find an unsent organisation card with a future delivery time, or one that has not yet been scheduled.
- 2.
Select Invite to Sign beside the card.
- 3.
Choose one or more colleagues from the Slack list, then select Send Invite or Send Invites. Each selected colleague receives a private Slack message with the card signing link.
- 4.
If an invitation cannot be sent, select Try Again to retry the colleagues whose invitations failed.
Availability and limits
Invite to Sign appears only for an unsent organisation card before its delivery time. It is not available after the card has been sent or delivered.
The card’s primary and secondary recipients are excluded from the Slack picker, so they are not sent an invitation to sign their own card.
If your organisation does not have an eligible plan or connected Slack workspace, use Link to share the card another way.
If you see a request to reconnect Slack, ask an organisation administrator to reconnect it from Organisation Settings before trying again.
Keep the delivery date in mind when inviting people to sign, so everyone has time to add their message before the card is sent.
